Premio Déjérine Dubois

Il premio viene conferito alla migliore presentazione tenuta alla GemSession della Swiss Association of Young Neurologists nel campo della ricerca clinica e di base nonché al miglior poster presentato.

Ogni premio è dotato di una somma di CHF 1’000.–. La presentazione di un numero di abstract inferiore a tre in una delle due categorie delle Presentazioni comporta l’accorpamento delle stesse, con la successiva assegnazione di un primo premio di CHF 1’500.– e un secondo premio di CHF 500.–.

Criteri

Ai bandi di concorso possono partecipare i lavori in ambito neuroscienze realizzati in Svizzera o nel corso di un soggiorno di ricerca all’estero da persone appartenenti a un’istituzione svizzera. Le relazioni a invito (invited lectures) non valgono ai fini dell’assegnazione dei premi,

che possono invece essere conferiti a medici operanti in Svizzera e impegnati nel perfezionamento professionale o che abbiano conseguito il titolo di specializzazione negli ultimi tre anni. La partecipazione ai bandi di concorso è consentita anche al personale di ricerca non medico attivo in campo neurologico entro un massimo di tre anni dal conseguimento del titolo di dottorato. Gli scienziati affermati (PD, prof.) non possono partecipare. Ai fini dell’assegnazione del premio si considerano solo i primi autori, mentre i coautori vengono menzionati nel relativo certificato e nel bando di concorso.

Selezione

Gli abstract vengono selezionati dal comitato scientifico del congresso, che in una prima fase individua i contributi più interessanti per la GemSession, composta da un totale di sei presentazioni, di cui tre nell’area della ricerca clinica e tre nel settore della ricerca di base. È inoltre prevista la selezione di sei abstract per l’allestimento di una serie di poster. La disamina si basa sulla qualità scientifica e linguistica dell’abstract.

Durante la GemSession e la visione dei poster, la giuria, selezionata dal comitato scientifico e composta da almeno due esperti, valuta i seguenti criteri di qualità: originalità, metodologia scientifica, rilevanza, stile di presentazione (lingua di presentazione: inglese).

Il premio viene conferito nella cornice della conferenza annuale della SSN.

La vincitrice o il vincitore ha diritto al premio solo se presente al momento deI conferimento. In caso contrario, il riconoscimento va all’autrice o all’autore che ha conquistato il secondo posto.
