Cerebrovascular diseases

Cerebrovascular disease includes a variety of medical conditions that affect the blood vessels of the brain and the cerebral circulation.

The swiss stroke society is the national organization that provides information and local points of contact for different cerebrovascular disorders. It also provides information on the Swiss stroke registry and Stroke units/centres in Switzerland.

Comment: It is an important source of information regarding cerebrovascular diseases in Switzerland and has relevant information on the Swiss Stroke societies guidelines

The European Stroke Organisation (ESO) is a pan-European society of stroke researchers and physicians, national and regional stroke societies and lay organisations.

Comment: A good website with regularly updated lectures from major international meetings and information/educational support, especially information regarding the European Master in Stroke Medicine and the European Stroke Journal. It also has an own ESO job platform.
