In 2025, the Swiss Brain League is to award a neuroscientific research grant as start-up financing for a junior scientist. Any type of brain research at a recognized scientific institution or clinical department in Switzerland will be considered as potential recipients. Junior academics who have studied medicine, biology, psychology, computer science, or a related subject may be considered as potential recipients. This year, the grant is to be awarded to clinical or translational neurological research in which scientific examinations of patients play a significant part.
In principle, the grant should cover a one-year doctoral student salary if no other financial support is available. The Swiss National Science Foundation rates apply to the salary, with an upper limit of CHF 60,000 including social security.
The documents must be sent by 30.06.2024 at the latest to the Swiss Brain League: info @hirnliga. ch
The detailed grant regulations can be obtained from the Swiss Brain League office (info) or on the website @hirnliga. chwww.hirnliga.ch.
