Articles of association

The articles of association form the legal basis of the SNS. The society is an association as per Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code.

1.1 The Swiss Neurological Society (SNS; hereinafter referred to as ‘the Society’ or ‘SNS’) is the professional association of neurology specialists. Other societies may be associated with the SNS as partner societies.

1.2 The Society is an association as per Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. The Society’s registered office shall be that of the branch office.

1.3 The purposes of the Society are as follows:

• Promoting neurological sciences and neurological teaching in education, further training and advanced training;
• Maintaining close relationships between the neurological sciences and related disciplines;
• Organising scientific meetings;
• Maintaining relationships between the Society’s members and international societies, institutes and academics.
