Highly specialised medicine (HSM): Barbara Tettenborn elected as the new President of the Highly Specialised Medicine Council 26 January 2024

Prof. Barbara Tettenborn will take over the presidency of the Highly Specialised Medicine Committee on 19 April 2024. Among other things, the specialist body defines the quality requirements that hospitals must fulfil in order to receive a service mandate in highly specialised medicine (HSM). Barbara Tettenborn succeeds Prof. em. Martin Fey, who has chaired the specialist body since March 2017.
